I always knew starting a business was the right thing for me. COVID-19 pandemic actually created an opportunity to finally start something of my own. Helping businesses keep in touch virtually with their customers through social media, online community groups and virtual events comes naturally to me just as it does for in person events.

Being able to speak 5 languages (English, Spanish, French, Creole and Arabic) has given me a chance to socialize and establish trust with even more professionals in Windsor Essex and around the world.

At the beginning of 2021 I launched my business, Pirkko Marketing (Named after my mother), with the desire to help the growth of local businesses while having the flexibility to spend quality time with my four children, husband and my dog, Chico.

For over 20 years I have been building relationships with business owners in the Windsor Essex region serving in various non-for-profit boards and involved in various associations. My current positions include President of the WE Business Exchange Networking Group, Social Media Chair for WE Serve Seniors, Membership and Social .
